Draft Swimming Pool Barrier Policy and Guidelines
Council is seeking feedback on its draft Swimming Pool Barrier Policy and Guidelines.


The objectives of the policy are to:

  • Ensure Council meets all obligations under the Swimming Pools Act 1992,
  • Raise community awareness of the importance of swimming pool safety,
  • Provide a functional and transparent framework for the management of swimming pools across the Shire, and
  • Reduce drowning and near-drowning events within the Shire.

Proposed Licence Agreement - Community Garden - Part 9 Cook Street, Mittagong

In accordance with Sections 46 & 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Wingecarribee Shire Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider granting a five (5) year Licence to Challenge Southern Highlands Inc to use approximately 600m2 of Council Community land being part Public Recreation Area at 9 Cook Street, Mittagong (part Lot 2 in DP1208463).

Draft Masterplan for Berrima Marketplace

Council has developed a draft Masterplan for the Berrima Marketplace which will guide future provision, development and maintenance of this unique park in the historic village of Berrima.

The Marketplace is a very popular park for children and families, as well as home to a number of well attended events including Anzac Day and Australia Day. The draft plan seeks to accommodate the needs of all users.

DRAFT AMENDMENTS TO THE MOSS VALE TOWN PLAN DCP – CHELSEA GARDENS COOMUNGIE
Draft Amendments to the Moss Vale Town Plan Development Control Plan (DCP) is currently on exhibition from Wednesday 15 May to Friday 12 July 2019 (inclusive).


The draft Amendment sets out planning controls and guidelines that will be used in the design and assessment of all future development applications within the Chelsea Gardens Coomungie Urban Release Area including the subdivision, future residential and village centre developments.

From 1 October 2008 the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 requires the disclosure of political donations and gifts when making submissions in respect of planning matters. 

Include Form 1 with your submission, even if your answer on that form is 'no'. If your answer is 'yes', you will also need to complete and lodge Form 2 with your submission.
