Intention to Issue Licence Agreement to Rotary Club Bowral-Mittagong and Bowral Lions Club

In accordance with Sections 46 & 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Wingecarribee Shire Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider granting Licence Agreement to Rotary Club Bowral-Mittagong and Bowral Lions Club for occupation of the storage shed located within the public golf course at 21 Boronia Street, Bowral. The term of the Licence Agreement will be for five (5) years.

Intention to Issue a Lease to Southern Highlands Carriage Club Incorporated 

In accordance with Sections 46 & 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Wingecarribee Shire Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider granting a Lease to Southern Highlands Carriage Club Incorporated for the occupation of the Southern Highlands Carriage Club site located at the corner of Quarry Road and Ferndale Road, Bundanoon. The term of the Lease will be for twenty-one (21) years.

Proposed Road Closure Part Road Reserve Corner Old South Road and Kangaloon Road Bowral

In pursuance of Section 38B, Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Wingecarribee Shire Council proposes to close the Council Public Road Reserve. Upon closure of the road reserve, Council intends to vest the land in Council as Community Land and consolidate the newly created lots with the title for the Botanic Gardens Site.

Community Engagement Strategy

The Community Engagement Strategy is now 5 years old and due for review. This coincides with an amendment to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act) which requires councils to prepare a Community Participation Plan for land use planning matters by 1 December 2019.

Minor changes have been made to the actions outlined within the strategy, a section inserted to address EP&A Act requirements and references updated.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the development of plans and strategies before the final versions are placed 'on exhibition' for final comment prior to adoption by Council.

Declaration to Accompany Planning Submissions


From 1 October 2008 the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 requires the disclosure of political donations and gifts when making submissions in respect of planning matters. 

Include Form 1 with your submission, even if your answer on that form is 'no'. If your answer is 'yes', you will also need to complete and lodge Form 2 with your submission.
