Review of the Whites Creek Draft Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan on exhibition

 

Wingecarribee Shire Council is asking residents to view and provide comment on the draft report on the Whites Creek Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan which goes on exhibition as of Tuesday 29 October 2019.


The draft floodplain risk management study and plan contains a number of options to manage the flood risks and recommends viable options for implementation.


The document can also be viewed in person at Council’s libraries and in the Moss Vale Civic Centre.


The draft report has been divided in to two parts:


Volume 1 - Main Report
Volume 2 – Maps

29 October 2019 to 7 January 2020

Submissions must be related to the study and must be received by Council no later than 4pm on Tuesday 7 January 2020.

Proposed Road Closure Part Road Reserve Corner Old South Road and Kangaloon Road Bowral

In pursuance of Section 38B, Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Wingecarribee Shire Council proposes to close the Council Public Road Reserve. Upon closure of the road reserve, Council intends to vest the land in Council as Community Land and consolidate the newly created lots with the title for the Botanic Gardens Site.

Re-advertising - Proposed Grant of Easement over Community Land at Mittagong 

Pursuant to Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, notice is hereby given of the following proposed grant of easement over Community Land to the persons listed in the table below: 

Address of Community Land: Pool, 142 Mittagong Road, Bowral being Lot 1 in Deposited Plan 85220

Purpose of Easement:Easement to Drain Stormwater

Term of Easement: Perpetual

Persons benefited by grant of Easement: Vikella Pty Ltd; Travers Pty Ltd; RM Hanbury Pty Ltd & Goota Pty Ltd.

As at the date of this notice for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1993, the persons benefited are the registered proprietors of the property being 164-176 Mittagong Road, Bowral. 

The purpose of re-advertising is to state the persons benefited by the grant of easement.

Declaration to Accompany Planning Submissions


From 1 October 2008 the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 requires the disclosure of political donations and gifts when making submissions in respect of planning matters. 

Include Form 1 with your submission, even if your answer on that form is 'no'. If your answer is 'yes', you will also need to complete and lodge Form 2 with your submission.
