Proposed Road Closing Under Section 38B Roads Act 1993 - Part Stockade Street, Berrima


In pursuance of the provisions of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Wingecarribee Shire Council proposes to close the Council Public Road in Schedule 1.


Schedule 1: Part Road Reserve, Stockade Street, Berrima


Upon closure of the road reserve, Council intends to sell the land to the adjoining land owner.

Once the submission period is completed, Wingecarribee Shire Council will consider all duly made submissions before deciding whether to continue with the road closure proposal.

Planning Proposal - Aitken Road Heritage, Bowral


The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (NSWDPIE) has issued a Gateway Determination to progress a Planning Proposal to amend Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 2010 to add a new heritage item (comprising three properties) in Aitken Road, Bowral, and a new heritage conservation area in Aitken and Kangaloon Roads, Bowral.


The proposed heritage item comprises nos. 25-27, 33-37 and 39-41 Aitken Road and will be called the Aitken Road Interwar Housing Group. The proposed heritage conservation area comprises nos. 12-30 & 25-43 Aitken Road and nos. 56, 58 and 60 Kangaloon Road and will be called the Aitken Road Conservation Area.

Council has formally resolved to grant a Licence Agreement to Highlands Community Centres Incorporated for the continued occupation of Highlands Youth Hub - 2a Park Road, Bowral being part lot 1 DP 943788 for a term of five (5) years.


In accordance with Sections 46 & 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Council gives notice of its intention to issue a licence over 2a Park Road, Bowral being Part Lot 1 DP 943788 for a period of five (5) years.

Declaration to Accompany Planning Submissions


From 1 October 2008 the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 requires the disclosure of political donations and gifts when making submissions in respect of planning matters. 

Include Form 1 with your submission, even if your answer on that form is 'no'. If your answer is 'yes', you will also need to complete and lodge Form 2 with your submission.
