Resourcing Strategy 2023-2033

Council’s Long Term Financial Plan forms part of the organisation’s Resourcing Strategy.

In line with the Local Government Amendment (Planning and Reporting) Act 2009, Council is required to review and update its suite of Integrated Planning and Reporting (IPR) documents every four years, generally at the commencement of each new Council term.

Council last updated its Resourcing Strategy in February 2016 as a result of a Special Rate Variation application (Investing in our Future Plan) which was submitted to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) and subsequently approved in May 2016.

The Resourcing Strategy gives consideration to the capacity for Wingecarribee Shire Council (WSC) to deliver on its responsibilities within Wingecarribee 2031 (W2031), our Community Strategic Plan. It also considers the broad range of regulatory and statutory frameworks which must also be met. Council has undertaken extensive community consultation as part of its review and updating of the Community Strategic Plan.

Further details regarding this consultation is provided in the Community Strategic Plan.
