Wingecarribee Shire Council is home to a diverse, creative and vibrant community, hosting arts and cultural events that people come from all over the world to enjoy.

Wingecarribee is proud to be a member of Southern Tablelands Arts (STA), which supports local councils’ Arts & Culture initiatives, and provides services to creative sector professionals and community cultural organisations operating within Council boundaries. 

STA also supports arts and culture via ongoing representation on multiple Councils' arts committees and project reference groups, adding expertise and professional guidance.

STA also represents Goulburn Mulwaree, Hilltops, Upper Lachlan Shire, Wollondilly Shire, and Yass Valley.

Southern Highlands ARTSFile

Southern Highlands ARTSFile is both resource to promote the spectacular creative offerings in the Southern Highlands and an events calendar for the region's various cultural happenings during the year. 

The ARTSFile website encompasses the full spectrum of creative endeavour and offers information and profiles related to the visual arts, artisans, music, performing arts, literature, museums, galleries and creative industries. ARTSFile aims to serve Wingecarribee's creative community by joining the area's many creative dots and engage with artists and performers of all disciplines, producers, publishers and arts organisations.

Weave Artists' Directory

Weave is an online directory of visual, literary and performing artists located within the Kiama, Shellharbour, Southern Highlands and Wollongong regions.
