Anzac Day 2020, Saturday 25th April

Anzac Day is the solemn day of remembrance of those Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought and died for their country.  Anzac Day is marked annually on the anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign of the First World War.

Due to the COVID-19 public health concerns all scheduled ANZAC Services were cancelled for 2020.

On April 25, traditionally many people mark ANZAC Day by attending a  service at one of our local cenotaphs.  However, this year Wingecarribee Shire and the RSL encourage residents to take some time during the day by tuning in via radio, social media or television to reflect and remember our veterans and those who are still severing today.

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
