Under the GIPA Act, Council is required to make the government information that is its open access information publicly available unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosure of the information. Council’s Proactive Release of Information Register includes hyperlinks that provide you with direct access to much of this information, and explains how you can access the open access information that is not published on the website.
In addition to open access information, Council is also authorised to make any government information that it holds publicly available unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosure of the information. This is a discretionary authority to release information in any manner considered appropriate, free of charge or at the lowest reasonable cost. The Proactive Release of Information Register therefore also includes information that Council has decided is in the public interest to make available without imposing unreasonable additional costs on Council.
Note: Please submit an informal access application form for access to previous versions (where applicable) of the documents provided below.
