Anzac Day Service and March at Moss Vale April 2023

Anzac Day is the solemn day of remembrance of those Australian and New Zealand service men and women who fought and died for their country. Anzac Day is marked annually on the anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign of the First World War to honour all Australians who have served their country in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

 Anzac Day 2024 Services in Wingecarribee

On 25 April 2024, join the families of local veterans at Anzac Day dawn services, marches, and other Anzac Day events across our Shire in remembrance of Australians who have fought for the freedoms we enjoy. 

  • Moss Vale Services Club - 10:30am March for 11:00am Service
  • Hill Top War Memorial Hall - 6:00am
  • Colo Vale Community Hall - 8:00am
  • Bowral War Memorial - 5:45am dawn service. Main Service March from 10:00am from Coles carpark, arriving at the War Memorial for 11:00am service.
  • Berrima War Memorial - dawn service 5:45am. Main Service at 10:30am.
  • Sutton Forest - 8:00am National Service and Reserve Forces Memorial Illawarra Hwy
  • Mittagong - 5:30am dawn service at clock tower, 10:45am main service at clock tower
  • Bundanoon - 6:00am service at Southern Villages War Memorial, 11:00am service at Soldiers Memorial Hall
  • Burrawang - 11:00am Burrawang School of Arts
  • Robertson - 6:00am Diggers Military Service (behind Robertson CTC). 10:15am service at Robertson School of Arts
  • Exeter - 9:00am service at Exeter Park

     

Many local Returned and Services League sub-branches planned commemorative services and wreath laying events in townships or villages for 2024. Wingecarribee Shire Council representatives attended many of these services to honour former and current servicemen and women.
