Tulip Bulb Giveaway Returns for 2025

Wingecarribee Shire Council will once again be offering free tulip bulbs to residents following the close of Tulip Time 2025. 

Thousands of bulbs from this year’s display in Corbett Gardens will be dispersed to the community on the following dates: 

Corbett Gardens, Bowral 

To participate in the Council’s community giveaway at Corbett Gardens, residents must provide proof of residency within the Wingecarribee Shire. A maximum of 10 randomly selected bulbs will be available per person and individual colour selection will not be possible. Residents are also reminded to bring their own bag or container to take bulbs home. 

Bulbs will also be provided to the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens and Welby Garden Centre for community sales and fundraising. Please get in contact with each organisation directly to learn more.  

In addition to the community dispersal, Council will also be trialling the planting of tulips in selected roadside gardens across the Shire this year, extending the colour of Tulip Time beyond Corbett Gardens.
