Bundanoon Bushcare Group

24 May 2022

This is a newly merged group including volunteers from the former Glow Worm Glen Bushcare Group and Leaver Park Bushcare Group. Garland Road Reserve and Leaver Park are the reserves which are the focus of this group. Volunteers will work at each site on alternate months with the support of the Bushcare Team.

Mansfield Reserve Bushcare Group

25 May 2022

The group meets to rehabilitate the bushland within this reserve, which is known to support Koalas and many bird species in addition to the threatened ecological community (TEC) the Southern Highlands Shale Forest and Woodland.

Mount Alexandra Reserve Bushcare Group

The group meets to work along Gibbergunyah Creek and near Sunset Point Drive and Iron Mines Creek.

Caring for our waterways and managing bushland on farms

Station Street Renewal Works

Council is proposing to carry out renewal works along Station Street in Bowral. The proposed works include construction of a new watermain, road pavement rehabilitation, kerb and gutter, footpath improvements and the inclusion of new car parking spaces.

Disability Inclusion Action Plan

Wingecarribee Shire Council is developing the next Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) for 2022-2026, which guides our work to improve access and inclusion for people with disabilities. We would like to continue our commitment to supporting and improving access and inclusion to Council services and facilities.

Bowral Memorial Hall Refurbishment

Wingecarribee Shire Council has engaged Belmadar Pty Ltd to successfully deliver the Bowral Memorial Hall Refurbishment Project. Bowral Memorial Hall is a building of significant importance to Council, Stakeholders/User Groups and the Public which utilise the facility as a fit for purpose multi-use asset.
