Halls Booking Request

Step 1.Choose the facility that best suits your requirements

See halls for a list of suitable venues.

Step 2.Liaise with the nominated booking officer to select the preferred date/s of hire

The Booking Officer will pencil in the date/s and the hirer will have 21 days to forward all relevant documentation to the Booking Officer.  

Step 3.Complete and collate the required documentation

1. Completed and signed halls booking form(PDF, 406KB).
2. Complete a Comprehensive risk assessment. To assist you Council has provided a guide for how to complete a risk assessment(PDF, 574KB).
3. Attach a copy of your COVID Safe Plan. 
4. Attach a copy of your current Public Liability Certificate of Currency for $20 million dollars.  Please ensure the name of the organisation/group listed on the Booking Form is also listed on the Certificate of Currency and all events/activities are approved by the insurer. Note: You may be required to submit relevant insurances for any contractors, volunteers involved in your event/activity. 
5. Additional information and a site plan may be required depending on the nature of your event.
6. Ensure that you have read Council’s Terms and Conditions for the hire of a facility(PDF, 360KB)  before you sign your booking form.  

Step 4.Lodgement of your booking request

Step 5.Confirmation of booking

Please note that confirmation will only be given once we have received all of the above documentation and have received payment of any bond required (if applicable).

Step 4.Lodgement of your booking request

Ensure you have completed and collated all relevant documents and information as outlined in step three.  Visit our Civic Centre between 8.30am and 4.30pm weekdays to submit your request and paperwork.

Step 5.Confirmation of booking

Please note that confirmation will only be given once we have received all of the above documentation and have received payment of any bond required (if applicable).
