Tulip Time 2023

The Tulip Time Festival is held every year in Spring in the Southern Highlands to pay homage to the enigmatic tulip – its range, shape, colour and allure.

The focus of Tulip Time is the spectacular floral display of 75,000 mass planted tulips.

No flower, whether in a garden or as a cut flower in a vase is as well-known and loved as the tulip. Once the most expensive flower bulb in the world, tulips continue to hold their fascination. Here in the Southern Highlands, Tulip Time heralds the arrival of Spring when the cool climate trees and plants burst into colour.

Each year the floral festival is held in Corbett Gardens in central Bowral in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales. One of Australia's oldest and best-loved floral festivals, Tulip Time attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year and features tulips, entertainment and stalls.

The 2023 festival will take place from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm each day from Tuesday 19 September to Monday 2 October 2023.

Tulips are also featured in many of the private gardens open to the public during Tulip Time. Other spots to photograph tulips include the Southern Highlands Welcome Centre and Winifred West Park in Mittagong, Leighton Gardens in Moss Vale and Lions Park in Bowral.
