This group has been working for over 25 years at the Mount Gibraltar Heritage Reserve and has achieved fantastic outcomes with the restoration of the Mount Gibraltar Forest, a threatened ecological community. They meet on the first Thursday of the month and work throughout the reserve.
Bushcare and Rivercare working bees occur on a fortnightly or monthly basis and you must be registered as a volunteer with Council if you would like to participate. Sites will vary, and a Bushcare Team member will notify the group a few days before the working bee about the meeting point.
If you are interested in volunteering please complete the online application form and Council will be in touch with you.
