Unfortunately all Bushcare working bees are suspended indefinitely due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and operational challenges. We will notify all registered Bushcare volunteers when this suspension is lifted. Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.
The former Moss Vale Landcare Group has worked two mornings a month for 17 years to rehabilitate over four kilometres of Whites Creek on both private and public land.
Whites Creek flows through Moss Vale from the Moss Vale Golf Course and continuing through Cosgrove Park towards Gibbons Road and west through rural farmland. The Moss Vale Bushcare Group continues to maintain and enhance these areas, focusing on Council-owned or managed land, with the ongoing support of Council's Bushcare Team.
Bushcare and Rivercare working bees occur on a fortnightly or monthly basis and you must be registered as a volunteer with Council if you would like to participate. If you are interested in volunteering please complete the online application form and Council will be in touch with you.
