Bushcare and Rivercare

Bushcare and Rivercare is all about restoring the resilience of natural areas on Council owned or managed land. Bushcare groups work in bushland reserves and Rivercare groups work in riparian areas near waterways. Bushcare and Rivercare groups are established when an existing reserve is identified as a high priority for restoration and there are a minimum of three interested volunteers willing to work 3 hrs once per month with support from Council’s Bushcare Team.

Bushcare and Rivercare working bees will resume in February/March 2022. Any requirements around the management of COVID-19 will be communicated directly via email to registered Bushcare volunteers next year. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you back out in the bush!
