Tools and Apps

Southern Highlands Nature Map is a citizen science platform and app that allows individuals to submit their photographs and records to enable a greater understanding of the biodiversity in the Southern highlands.

Threatened Ecological Community Map is a online, interactive map that allows users to explore what threatened ecological communities are predicted within bushland reserves in the Southern Highlands.

 

 

Sustainability 

Council coordinates and supports a variety of sustainability initiatives. This includes providing information for the community to undertake activities at home including waste reduction and energy efficiency.

Council supports and promotes a number of events each year with the support of the Environment Levy. The events help educate and inform the community about environmental issues of significance in the Southern Highlands.
