Backflow Prevention Policy

The Backflow Prevention Policy was adopted by Council on the 23 May 2018.

The objectives of this policy are to:

  • To minimise public health risk
  • To protect the drinking water quality within Council’s water reticulation system
  • To ensure compliance with relevant legislation
