Hardship Policy - Rates, Water and Sewerage Charges

The Hardship Policy - Rates, Water and Sewerage Charges was adopted by Council on the 8 November 2011.

The objectives of this policy are to: 

  • To provide where possible assistance to ratepayers who are suffering financial hardship with the payment of rates and charges.
  • To provide an administrative process to determine applications quickly.
  • To promote the image of Council as both efficient and fair.
