If you have a complaint about the conduct of a Councillor, staff member, or committee member, and believe the Code of Conduct has been breached, complete and submit a Code of Conduct Complaint Form.

You should provide clear information about the reason for your complaint including who was involved, what happened, and when and where (time, date and place) it happened. You should also include evidence to support your complaint.

The Code of Meeting Practice was adopted by Council on the 28 July 2021.

The Code of Meeting Practice (Code) for Wingecarribee Shire Council is based on the Model Code of Meeting Practice for Local Councils in NSW (the Model Meeting Code) and is made under section 360 of the Local Government Act 1993 (the Act) and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005 (the Regulation).

This Code applies to all meetings of councils and committees of councils of which all the members are councillors in accordance with clause 20.2 of this Code (committees of council). Council committees whose members include persons other than councillors must conduct meetings in accordance with Council’s adopted Committee Manual.
