The COVID-19 Disaster Payment, is a  lump-sum payment for people who have lost work and income due to public health orders in New South Wales due to COVID-19.

Dine and Discover NSW Voucher Program

If you are aged 18 and over and are a New South Wales resident, you can apply for 4 x $25 vouchers. The vouchers are divided into two categories, which consist of 2 x $25 Dine NSW Vouchers and 2 x $25 Discover NSW Vouchers.

Eviction Moratorium for Residential Tenants

Until the 11 September 2021, there is a tenancy moratorium in place, to restrict when landlords can evict tenants due to rental arrears.

Landlords who own a residential rental property, who decrease rent for impacted tenants, are able to apply for a grant or land tax reductions depending on their circumstances.

Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment

The Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment is available if you live in New South Wales and can't earn an income because you must self-isolate or quarantine, or if you are caring for someone with COVID-19.

Test and Isolate Payment

If you need to self-isolate and are unable to work while waiting for your COVID-19 test result, you may be eligible for the COVID-19 Test and Isolate support payment.

NSW workers can apply for the $320 payment if they:

  • Meet the eligibility criteria
  • Agree to follow NSW Health self-isolation guidelines while waiting for their COVID-19 test result.
  • Tests were taken on or after 13 August 2021
  • Apply for the payment within 7 days of having the test
