The Department of Planning (DOP) has determined that the land use tables in the Standard Instrument (SI) on which Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan (WLEP) 2010 is based shall conform with the definitions contained in the dictionary which forms part of the LEP.
Many land uses form part of a set of grouped uses and understanding which land uses are included within particular grouped definitions is essential to accurately interpreting the land use table for each zone.
The standard land use matrix has been prepared by the NSW Department of Planning. The matrix has not been completed for Wingecarribee Shire because it does not form part of the published LEP and because it is intended for guidance only and does not replace the public Local Environmental Plan in any respect.
Also note that the land use tables do not include land use permissibility which is determined by a State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP) rather than through the LEP.
Users are directed to clause 2.3 of the LEP to understand how the land use table is to be read.
Users are reminded that the matrix is provided for guidance only.
Only Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 2010 should be used to determine land use permissibility within a zone.
