Council has prepared a policy for discharge of Liquid Trade Waste to assist property owners, shop owners, consultant's, and plumbers to understand and comply with Council's requirements. Policy for discharge of Liquid Trade Waste into Council's SewerA person / business wishing to discharge liquid trade waste to the sewerage system must, under section 68 of the Local Government Act 1993, obtain prior approval from Wingecarribee Shire Council. Discharging liquid trade waste without an approval is an offence under section 626 of the Act. See the attached PDF (Frequently Asked Questions) below. Liquid Trade Waste fees and charges for 2009/10Details on the 2009/10 Charges and implementation of the charges are contained in the attached PDF '2009/10 Charges & Information for LTW Dischargers' below. The Approval sets out the conditions under which property owners can discharge waste to the sewerage system and is a State Government requirement under the Local Government Act.
