Renwick Community Survey

A Community Centre will be built at Renwick by UrbanGrowth NSW in the near future.

Once built the Community Centre will become a Council owned facility and therefore require a management plan to ensure that its use and ongoing maintenance is administered correctly. We are seeking community involvement in the development of this plan and are currently inviting residents to complete a survey.

Station Street logo

Following extensive community consultation, in 2012 Council adopted the Bowral Parking, Traffic and Transport Strategy which outlined a major upgrade of Station Street to address the long term issue of traffic congestion within the town centre.

Council is now embarking on the upgrade of Station Street to include two lanes in each direction (between Bundaroo Street and Bowral Street), new roundabouts at Bong Bong Street and Bowral Street and improved parking facilities and access to town centre businesses.

Detailed design work will be completed during 2016 and it is anticipated that Station Street construction works will commence in 2017.

Detailed concept designs are now on exhibition. Provide feedback by 18 September 2017.

Community engagement with property owners, businesses and the broader community is underway.

Berrima Road Deviation

Preliminary designs for the Berrima Road Deviation Project have been placed on public exhibition from 27 March to 28 April 2017.

The project will see Berrima Road diverted from the existing level crossing near the Boral Cement Works to a bridge over the train line further east. The existing T-junction intersection at Berrima Road and Taylor Avenue and the bend on the approach to the crossing from Moss Vale will also be removed from the route. These will be replaced with a B-triple truck capacity roundabout.
