Drugged Driving

Last modified: October 19, 2009 - 3:29 PM

SMOKE and DRIVE and you're as good as drunk

You know that drink driving is dangerous but you should also know that driving stoned can increase the chance of you having an accident by up to 300%. It reduces reaction time and the ability to make decisions.

The message is clear: if you've smoked cannabis, don’t drive.

For further information about the effect of cannibis on driving click the link here or call the free Cannabis Information and Helpline on 1800 30 40 50.

For 24 hour help with a drug problem contact the Alcohol Drug Information Service on 1800 422 599.
