Water Supply & Sewerage Services
|Sewer Main Construction||30th October - Late November|
The works will involve the renewing of the old sewer main and the construction of a new 150mm sewer main by specialist contractor Carve Earthworks. Construction will be carried out over a distance of 295 metres between the intersections of Main Street with Fitzroy Street and Albion Street inclusive cul-de-sac at Albion Lane.

Crews are attending the area to repair the main and restore water. Supply will impact residents on Gantry Pl & Braemar Ave and possibly surrounding areas.
|Bowral Sewerage Treatment Plant, Burradoo Rd, Burradoo||Possible Odour||2 weeks from Monday, 16th October 2017||Planned Maintenance at Bowral STP. Council is required to complete lagoon maintenance over the next 2 weeks. Although Council implements managerial protocols during this process, unfortunately the practice may still result in residents noticing odour release.|

Water & Sewer Network Renewals & Upgrades
|25th September to 25th October|
Construction of 250mm PE water main at Old Bowral Road, Mittagong is scheduled to commence on 25.09.2017. The road will be closed between Lyell Street and Cavendish Street from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday during the period of construction. Road will re-open each afternoon after 6:00 pm. A detour will be in place during the works (please see TCP).

|Water Main Flushing Program||19 June to 23 June 2017|
Council is conducting a program of water mains flushing in Exeter & Bundanoon. This is to help remove minute sediments that inevitably build up in all water main systems. It helps keep the water supply from our taps clean, healthy and clear. Cleaning the Water Mains is an essential maintenance activity that enhances the quality of water.

|Water & Sewer Network Renewals & Upgrades||Commencing June 2017 for 12 Months|
Council has engaged Carve Earthworks & Construction Pty Ltd have been engaged to conduct a 12 month replacement program involving upgrading and replacing water mains, water meters, sewer mains and manholes in various locations in the Wingecarribee Shire.
|Smoke Testing Programme||June 2017 to August 2017|
Council has engaged Interflow Pty Ltd to undertake a smoke-testing program whereby the contractor pumps an odourless smoke or dense mist into the sewerage system to detect faults and illegal connections. This programme assists Council to locate cracks, leaks, illegal connections and aids in minimising the amount of infiltration entering the sewerage system. These smoke tests are quick, safe, odourless and non-toxic.
|Bowral, Mittagong & Moss Vale||Sewer cleaning & CCTV inspection works||Tues 4th April |

|Council has engaged GMA Environmental Services to undertake sewer main cleaning and CCTV inspections.|
Customers affected by the works will be notified by way of letter drop at least 48 hours prior to the works starting.
The works involve the following activities:
- High pressure cleaning of council's sewer pipes
- CCTV inspection to identify defects and assess the condition of the sewer pipes.
- Traffic control where required.
Access to water and sewer services will still be available during the works.
Council recommends that affected customers keep water use to a minimum and as a precautionary measure keep all toilet lids closed and sinks & baths plugged when not in use.

|Church Street Burrawang (Illawarra Highway for 600m)||Road Reconstruction||September & October 2017||Entry Lane closed from Illawarra Highway between 7am and 5pm. Detours are in place via Burrawang Station Road. Traffic Control in place. Reduced speed. Take caution when driving in area.|

Council is extending the existing carpark to provide additional parking at the East Bowral Community Centre. During construction sections of the carpark and footpath in the immediate vicinity of works may be temporarily closed to allow the movement of construction vehicles. The carpark will however remain open and efforts will be made to minimise the impact.

|Ringwood Road, Exeter||Reseal preparation||October||Reseal preparation on Ringwood Road Exeter, just north of the Bundanoon Road intersection. Due to today’s weather (20/10/2017), the works have been delayed and the 40km work zone speed limit will remain in place over the weekend. Delays should be minimal however there is an alternate route for travellers from Moss Vale along Badgerys Way in Exeter and continuing along Bundanoon Road.|

Retford Park Estate West subdivision is currently under construction. Part of the approved works includes the construction of a new roundabout on Boardman Road to provide access to the new Estate.
