Council resolved to adopt a Sustainability & Design Criteria for New Urban Residential Development on 23 April 2008 to become effective from 7 May 2008. Council will consider this policy in the assessment of new urban release areas across the Shire. All new urban release area applications are to include a statement addressing the provisions of this policy in their submission.
