Planning Proposal - Innes Road Moss Vale

PURPOSE: The purpose of this Planning Proposal is to amend WLEP 2010 to rezone the subject site from RE1 Public Recreation to B4 Mixed Use, apply a minimum lot size of ‘Q’ (700 sqm) and reclassify Part of Lot 2 DP 775152, Innes Road, Moss Vale from Community to Operational land.


OBJECTIVES OR INTENDED OUTCOMES: The intended outcome is to consolidate the subject site into the adjoining properties to the east.


LAND AFFECTED: The northern Part of Lot 2 DP 775152, Innes Road, Moss Vale.


STATUS: The Community Consultation period has now closed


BACKGROUND: The Planning Proposal was lodged requesting the above amendments to the northern Part of the subject site to allow private access to the rear of 173 Lackey Road, Moss Vale. Considering the affect of this amendment in isolation would have been to land-lock the remainder of the site for any other access. Council considered that the greatest benefit would come from reclassifying the remainder of this Part of Lot 2 from Community Use to Operational and allow the consolidation of this site into the adjoining private properties to the east.


EXHIBITION DATES: This Planning Proposal was advertised until the  17 March 2017.  A Public Hearing for the Reclassification of the land was held on Tuesday 2 May 2017.
