THE STATUS OF PLANNING PROPOSALS PROVIDED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING MAY BE VIEWED ON THEIR WEBSITE USING THEIR LEP TRACKING SERVICE.
TO REZONE LAND AT 22 PARKES ROAD MOSS VALE FROM IN2 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL TO R2 LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL with a minimum lot size of 700m2. FILE REFERENCE 5901/59
On 23 May 2018 the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (NSWDPE) issued a Gateway Determination to progress a Planning Proposal to rezone land at 22 Parkes Road Moss Vale from IN2 Light Industrial to R2 Low Density Residential with a minimum lot size of 700m2.
The effects of this amendment will enable Council to consider a development application for a retail premises to operate from the address. The Proposal is now exhibited in accordance with the NSWDPE Gateway requirements and submissions sought from the community.
The Planning Proposal is on exhibition from Wednesday 11 July to Friday 10 August 2018.
EXHIBITION INFORMATION: The Planning Proposal is on exhibition at Council’s Customer Service Counter, Civic Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street Moss Vale NSW 2577 during opening hours. Exhibition material is also available to view via Council's website - www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/whats-on-public-exhibition as well as at the Bowral, Moss Vale, Mittagong and Mobile Libraries.
MAKE A SUBMISSION: Written submissions to the Planning Proposal may be completed online, hand delivered to the Civic Centre, emailed, or posted to Wingecarribee Shire Council, PO Box 141 Moss Vale NSW 2577.
Any submission objecting to a Planning Proposal must clearly state the reasons for that objection. The lodging of a submission is voluntary, however if you choose not to lodge a submission, your views on the matter cannot be considered by Council. Once lodged with Council, the information you provide can be accessed by you and may also be available to third parties including other members of the public. The Planning Proposal will be reported to Council as soon as practicable after the close of the exhibition period, taking into account any submissions received.
All submissions must quote the file reference 5901/59 and be received by Council before 4.30pm on Friday 10 August 2018.
