Outdoor Dining & Retail Goods on Footpath Application

Outdoor Dining

New cafe/restaurant 

If the cafe/restaurant is to be established, it is necessary for the Land Use Application (LUA) to include the area proposed to be used for outdoor dining and, if this is approved, an application for approval of outdoor dining activities (internal ink) can be then lodged with Council.

 

Existing cafe/restaurant 

If the cafe/restaurant is operating and approved as a cafe/restaurant by LUA, then owners can simply lodge the application for approval of outdoor dining (internal link). In your application there is provision for the LUA number to be quoted for your existing use.


 

Retail Goods on Footpath & Display of Sandwich Boards


Business owners may lodge an application to display retail goods on the footpath directly in front of their shop premises, or to display a sandwich board (internal link)
