Detailed design of the Robertson Sewerage Scheme has commencedLast modified: August 14, 2009 - 4:13 PM
Work has commenced on the detailed design of the sewage collection system for the Robertson Sewerage Scheme. Surveyors from the Department of Commerce (NSW Public Works) will be on-site in and around Robertson over the next few weeks to carry out field work that will allow the preparation of a draft reticulation layout. This may involve accessing some locations within private properties that are critical to the design. The personnel carrying out this work will carry identification and contact property owners where possible. When this layout is available, it will be placed on public exhibition to allow comments from affected residents and ratepayers to be considered before the sewage collection system design is finalised for tendering purposes. It is currently anticipated that the layout will be on exhibition for the last two weeks of October 2009. Further site survey work will take place following the exhibition period to set out the amended design and this stage will involve access to a greater number of properties. Further information concerning the Robertson Sewerage Scheme is available under the Water and Sewerage area on Council's website.
