Computer Classes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Computer Classes. Never ever turned a computer on? Friendly volunteers will get you started at the YMCA building in Bendooley Place, Bowral on Fridays from 1.00pm to 2.30pm. The class is free and transport is available. Relaxed classes , learn to surf the net, look up family history, check out job information, have a cuppa and a yarn.
The project is a partnership between Wingecarribee Shire Council and the YWCA, with volunteer tutors from the Southern Highlands Computer Users Group. Aboriginal employment Information is supplied each week by Indigenous Service Officer, Athol Lester from Centrelink.
