UPDATE: This Planning Proposal has now been amended. Directly below is the report and resolution of Council requesting an amendment to the Planning Proposal. Also included directly below is the amended Gateway Determination issued by the Department of Planning and Environment. The Gateway Determination requires that the amended Planning Proposal be referred back to the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) for comment. The OEH's comments have now been received. The Planning Proposal will now be made available for public exhibition from 4 March 2015 to 3 April 2015. The revised Planning Proposal and all supporting information can be found HERE.
A Public Information Meeting on the amended Planning Proposal will be held on 5 March 2015. Notification letters to residents in the locality will be mailed on 24 February 2015. Detail of the Public Meeting are included in the letter.

PLANNING PROPOSAL TO AMEND THE WINGECARRIBEE LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN 2010 FOR TWO (2) PROPERTIES ON FARNBOROUGH ESTATE.

STATUS: THE COMMUNITY CONSULTATION STAGE OF THIS PLANNING PROPOSAL HAS NOW CLOSED. ON 12 MARCH 2014 A REPORT WAS PRESENTED TO THE PLANNING & STRATEGIC PEAK COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE.
On 12 March 2014 Council's Planning and Strategic Peak Committee of the Whole resolved as follows:
THAT Council support a planning proposal with a total of 85 lots, under the condition that the whole of the site is used and that no further land in the site is available for further sub division.
BACKGROUND: A second and final public meeting was held on Thursday 13 February 2014 in the Civic Centre Theatrette. Residents, Councillors, Council staff and the applicant were in attendance. The Power Point presentation from that meeting follows.

On 24 October 2012 Council resolved to prepare a Planning Proposal to amend the Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 2010 for two (2) properties on Farnborough Drive in Farnborough Estate Moss Vale as described below:
On the 5 June the Department of Planning & Infrastructure issued a Gateway Determination for Council to proceed with the exhibition of the Planning Proposal.

The Minister for Planning has determined that Wingecarribee Shire Council, as the Relevant Planning Authority will determine this Planning Proposal under delegated authority.
