Plans of Management

Plans of management are required under the Local Government Act and are used to outline the important features of the land (eg natural significance, sportsground), how council will manage the land, and in particular to indicate how the land may be used or developed.

Plans of Management are written by council in consultation with the community.

Plans of Management are  being prepared as funds permit with a generic plan of management covering a number of community land sites.

We are however, developing a number of more specific Plans of Management for key land in the shire. These areas are predominantly more significant reserves and include Bong Bong Common, Mittagong Creek Reserve, Mansfield Reserve, Hammock Hill Reserve, Glebe Park & Berrima Reserve.
