Smoke Patrols to Identify Smokey Chimneys in your Area

Last modified: July 27, 2006 - 3:55 PM

Council will be conducting smoke patrols in your area during winter and will work with owners of consistently smokey chimneys to help remedy the situation.

If a council officer on patrol sees an excessively smokey chimney they will return 20 minutes or so later to check again. If the level of smoke emission has not improved, the household will be issued with a flyer and asked to contact council. Together we will work on remedying the situation before any further action is necessary.
