Council assists landholders to retain remnant endangered ecological communities

As part of the WOFE program, Council assists landholders to retain remnant endangered ecological communities on their property with the aim of conserving wildlife habitat and to create corridors of vegetation within the shire. By entering into a conservation agreement landholders may obtain financial assistance with fencing, weed control, revegetation as well as technical advice. If you are interested in knowing more about these agreements contact Council’s Bushland Project Officer on 48 60  3010.
