Draft DCP Ecologically Sustainable Development

Notice is hereby given that Wingecarribee Shire Council resolved on 22 March 2017 to exhibit draft development control plan provisions with regard to Ecologically Sustainable Development.

The purpose of these controls is to ensure that they are consistent with relevant state legislation and to provide stronger and clearer guidelines and controls for particular types of development and circumstances.

The draft provisions are on public exhibition from Wednesday 5 April to Friday 5 May 2017. 

Relevant documentation may be viewed using the links below. Documentation may also be viewed at Council’s Customer Service Centre in the Civic Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale, and at all libraries including the mobile library, during opening hours.

HOW TO MAKE A SUBMISSION/COMMENT You are invited to inspect the draft provisions and may make a submission in writing to Wingecarribee Shire Council. Any submission objecting to any provisions must clearly state the reasons for objection. 

Submissions should quote file 5700.

Submissions must be received by Council by 4.30 pm on Friday 5 May 2017 and may be emailed, posted or delivered by hand.

The lodging of a submission is voluntary. However if you choose not to lodge a submission/objection in writing, your views will not be taken into account by Council in relation to this matter. Any information that you choose to provide to Council will be used by Council to process this matter. Once lodged with Council the information you provide can be accessed by you and may also be available to third parties including other members of the public.
