Council Policy on Access to Information

Plans

This strategy is designed to assist Council and the business community with decision making relating to economic development initiatives. It provides opportunities for Council to work collaboratively with the Southern Highlands Business Chamber, the business community and other interested parties to achieve the desired outcome for the Shire. 

Privacy Management Plans and Guidelines

Section 33 of the Personal and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIPA) requires all public sector agencies to prepare a Privacy Managment Plan. This plan and guidelines identify how Wingecarribee Shire Council complies with this Act and also the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (HRIPA).

Codes

Code of Conduct

The Local Government Act 1993 requires every council to adopt a code of conduct that incorporates the provisions of The Model Code of Conduct for Local Councils in NSW.  Code of Conduct

Code of Meeting Practice

The Code of Meeting Practice provides the guidelines and framework for the processes of decision making in Council meetings.
