The 'Our Village Our Future’ (OVOF) program is a community development initiative designed to bring communities in small towns together to build skills, share resources and help plan for their future.
The program works with the community to confirm a vision for their village and to develop a plan to achieve this vision.
This plan has now been finalised and a copy can be viewed below:

Following a community survey and workshop held in 2014, the Draft Plan was developed using information gathered from these consultations.
To finalise the draft plan a follow up second Community Workshop was held in October 2015.

Community/Visitor Information Centre Project
The project has already seen a number of successes to date.
A working group, made up of community representatives, has been formed to plan and progress a community/visitor information centre for the Village.
For further information about the working group please contact: Robertson Shed
Conversations have started regarding the formation of a history group and discussions regarding the formation of a Village/Community Association have also commenced with the view that this umbrella organisation will support smaller groups in the community.
During 2012 and 2013 Wingecarribee Shire Council piloted the Our Village Our Future program in the villages of Balmoral and Wingello. Both plans were launched in the first half of 2013.
These plans identify a list of priority actions that will be worked on by the Village Associations, community and in some cases Council, over the next five years.
