Australia Day 2008

Berrima will again be the venue for the Australia Day celebrations in 2008.

This is a day for the whole family, beginning at 9.30am with the Official Ceremony held in the grounds of Berrima Historic Court House. 

The program includes a Citizenship Ceremony, the presentation of Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year Awards and recitations by the winners of the Australia Day Poetry competition.

Following the ceremony, lamingtons, tea and damper will be served at the Court House.

The Grand Parade begins at 12 noon and throughout the day there will be many other activities such as market stalls, helicopter rides, a carousel and entertainment in the Market Place.
