2008 - 2009 Community Assistance SchemeWingecarribee Shire Council 2008 - 2009 Community Assistance Scheme. The 2008-2009 Scheme has closed and all applicants have been notified. The 2009-2010 Scheme will open in February 2009. The following information is provided as a guide to the scheme only.Funding is available to local non-profit community organisations to assist in the development and provision of: health promotion, artistic, sporting, welfare, community development and leisure and cultural facilities, services and activities and is provided only where a community need has been clearly demonstrated, funding is not available from any other source and the project and organisation complies with the 2008/2009 Guidelines.
Applications MUST be submitted on the original application form where each section must be completed IN FULL. Closing date for all applications is strictly 4.30pm Friday 28th March, 2008. LATE AND/OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Application forms and guidelines can be downloaded from this page and are also available from the Council’s Customer Service Area, Civic Centre, Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale, Council Libraries and through the post. INFORMATION SESSIONS Two (2) Information Sessions will be held on Wednesday 20th February, 2008 commencing at 2:30pm and 5:30pm in the Theatrette in the Civic Centre. All potential applicants are encouraged to attend, as these sessions will provide valuable information and answer questions relating to the scheme. Application forms will be available and potential applicants will be assisted.
